DIMACS High School Student Research Conferences

DIMACS, Center for Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science, a consortium of Rutgers and Princeton Universities, AT&T Labs, Bell Labs (Lucent Technologies), NEC Laboratories Research, and Telcordia Technologies, invites you to attend the DIMACS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT RESEARCH CONFERENCE.

The conference will feature presentations by high school students on their research on various topics in graph theory and its applications to the problems of society, combinatorics, bio-mathematics, etc. The research papers presented at earlier conferences resulted from intensive academic year student research experiences following the summer programs of research experiences for teachers as part of the DIMACS Connect Institute (DCI) and DIMACS Bio-Math Connect Institute (BMCI), but all students are invited to participate. Awards will be presented for the research presentations.

All participants are invited to a luncheon sponsored by DIMACS.

There are no registration fees for all teachers who participated in the DIMACS programs called the DIMACS Connect Institute (DCI) and the DIMACS Bio-Math Connect Institute (BMCI) and their students. However, pre-registration is required. All other attendees, including DCI and BMCI participants who do not pre-register, will be charged a $15.00 registration fee. Please see the specific conference web site for registration details.
